Before you embark on your first camping trip of the season, it’s important to check your unit to ensure everything is running correctly, and you have what you need:

Open up your trailer to air it out and check for rodent or water damage
Open up your awning and check for damage
Check all your safety items (smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, LP gas leak detector) and make sure you have all the necessary safety equipment (first aid kit, fire extinguisher, flares)
Check your appliances, A/C, batteries, and lights to ensure that they are all working and running
Check your tires, suspension, and bearings to ensure there’s no damage, and inflate your tires to the recommended pressure
Check your water tank and propane levels, and fill them if necessary
Check the seals on your slideout and condition them if necessary
